2. "China remains biggest market for Philippine bananas"

SUMMARY : Even though Mindanao lost their 174 million dollar per week, they remain exporting to China and they have to deal with many problems. In 2002,the biggest market of Mindanao banana(about 70%)export, China banned it, so Mindanao got very critical damage. However, they remain exporting because although they don't rely on China, it still their largest market. Also they need to solve disease like Fusarium Wilt. Simultaneously, Mindanao try to find another demand for banana except China. In conclusion, Mindanao remain exporting with China although they don't want to and they need to solve disease problems not only to remain China export, but also to pioneer the new market.

PERSUASIVE : This article is truly interesting because they handle with banana disease and told us about their exporting circumstances like banned in China or finding new place to export. Recently, I saw a article of banana extinction and got really interested because one of my favorite fruit is banana. Philippine is one of large banana production place, so I tried to find article of Philippines banana and this article gave me new information and interesting  feelings.

3.Philippine militants wanted for foreign kidnappings captured : police




SUMMARY : Philippine police captured two Islamic militants who were related in Al-Qaeda-linked Abu Sayyaf group and this group did many foreign kidnappings or bombed in Manila . This two militants captured just after one of their leaders captured and they said they did many foreign kidnappings. For example, Australian Warren Rodwell or American Gerfa Yeatts Lunsmann. Militants also did bomb terror in 2004 Manila which killed more than 100 peoples. As a result, two members of terrible Philippine militants that usually kidnapped foreigners had arrested. 

PERSUASIVE : This article is about Philippines militants captured and I think it's very glad to captured them and should have to captured them all because they related in the most terrible group 'Al-Qaeda', they did many foreign kidnappings and had previous conviction of bomb terror in Manila. The reason why I choose this article is I heard many of Philippines related to crime and want to see what kinds of crime happens in there. With these article I could learn about Philippines militants which were terrible, and very glad to captured portion of them.

4.Philippines trying to stop women travelling to the UAE to work as maids.



SUMMARY : The Philippine labour secretary, Rosalinda Baldoz said she trying to stop women travelling to the UAE to work as maid by stop processing contracts , not compelling employers and strictly manage UAE visit visa. Overseas Employment Administration (Poea) stop processing contracts to UAE. Although they didn't compel employers, they imposed strict requirements for employers so that it could reduce women travelling to the UAE to work as maids. Lastly they handled the visit visa to stop women travelling. In conclusion, Philippine labour secretary wants to stop women travelling to the UAE to work as maids, and UAE also said they expressed to negotiate with Philippine.

PERSUASIVE : This article is about forbid the women travelling to the UAE to work as maids and Philippine labour secretary did many things to stop it. I think it's very nice to did it because women are their citizen and very low minimum rage $400 and it seems this mean of wage is interpreted like slave. I choose this article because the title hooks me very well and I could understand about their circumstances and beneficial to solve women travelling to the UAE to work as maids.
